The José "Pepín" Cestero court has been the scene of great games and for many years was the home of the Puerto Rico women's basketball league. Today, April 26, 2023, was the reopening of this court with a new multi-use plank and improvements to the entire facility. The municipality of Bayamón invited the PR 50+ women's master team, which will participate this year in the world master tournament in Argentina, to play a 3x3 exhibition basketball game. The players participated in zumba classes and shared with the public and with teams of minor leagues. The Asociación Femenina Master de PR provided support to the activity where health and sports were promoted for the communities in the area as part of its commitment. We appreciate the deference of the mayor of Bayamón, Ramón Luis Rivera Cruz, with our players and with the community. This is another example of how a sport is used as the key piece in the development of a community.
